Child Care Homes

Each Family Child
Care Home environment is unique both in physical dimension
and individual provider style. Child care and development
services delivered through a family child care network is
ideal for creating consistency in program planning and allows
the agency to provide support and technical assistance.
The family child care model
is especially favored by parents of very young children
(0-3 years), as the group size tends to be smaller, and
primary caregiver consistent. The providers receive training
and assistance in setting up their family child care home
to address the individual needs of every child. The goal
is to provide a physically, cognitively, socially and emotionally
secure environment that supports the developing self-esteem. |
