Home Based Care
In addition to center-based care, the agency provides families the option of family child care (FCC). The FCC Department is comprised of nearly two-hundred (200) licensed and license-exempt home providers throughout the four-county region, who provide care Monday-Friday, evenings and weekends to meet the individualized needs of our families. A Go Kids team of eight staff provide quality assurance, training and technical support to these early care partners to ensure the highest level services for our families, and professional development opportunities for these contracted, hard-working small business operators. Quality child care and development services are delivered to over 700 children through the Go Kids Family Child Care Network. Each family child care provider in our network is licensed and trained in early childhood education and offer an enriching environment for children birth through 12 years of age. Every family childcare home is both unique in program and structure to meet the needs of the individual children and families of whom they serve.
Go Kids ensures children served in homes are receiving quality care by offering providers ongoing support and training in the form of monthly home visit consultations, network meetings and various professional development opportunities. Family child care is ideal for parents of young children as the group size tends to be smaller and the primary caregiver consistent.
